Record Maintenance for Water Analyses
According to the Maine Rules Relating to Drinking Water at 10-144 Chapter 231 Section 5:
Any owner or operator of a system shall retain on his premises, or at a convenient location near his premises, the records as indicated below. Such records shall be made available to the public for their review.
- Bacteria: 5 years
- Chemical: 10 years
- Lead/Copper: 12 years
- Violations: 3 years
- Sanitary Survey: 10 years
- Variances and Exceptions: 5 years
- Daily Operational Records: 7 years
